Wii hops on the fusion bandwagon.

July 28, 2006 - Nintendo of America today announced the impending launch of the Nintendo Fusion Tour, a nationwide festival that marries music and videogames. This year's Fusion Tour will be headlined by Hawthorne Heights and will also feature bands including Relient K, Emery, Plain White T's and The Sleeping.
In news that's every bit as important, the Big N also announced that it will offer Fusion Tour guests a sneak peek at its upcoming Wii console. Nintendo did not specify in what capacity Wii would be on hand, but playable demos are likely. The company's top-ranking executives have stated on numerous occasions that they would like to offer consumers a chance to play Wii for themselves before the console ships.The Nintendo Fusion Tour schedule is listed below.
